Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Flying to Kathmandu along the northern border of Nepal on a clear day is itself an unforgettable experience, with the entire Nepalese Himalaya sprawling out below you. You will be met at the Airport by company representative to escort you to your hotel so, look out for Explore Himalaya signboard with your name on it.

Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is a strange mixture of Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism and Western influence. There will be a half day guided tour to Famous & biggest Hindu shrine PASUPATHINATH, largest Buddhist stupa in town BOUDHANATH, 15th century palace of 55 windows and & durbar Square at BHAKTAPUR. Rest of day is to sort out your biking arrangement; your guide is there to help you with everything.

Day 3 Drive to Nagarkot (2100m)
To help you acclimatize before you enter high Tibetan plateau you will driven to Nagarkot, a 2100 meter hill resort located 30 Kms away from Kathmandu. En route capture the most breathtaking panoramic Himalayan sights of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar. Nagarkot accommodates finest of resorts, hotels, restaurants and cafes. You will spend the night at one of the best resort or hotel in Nagarkot. In the evening, you can catch the most magnificent sunset view in Nagarkot.

Day 4 Downhill ride to Dhulikhel (1600 m, 4 hrs approx)
You wake up early in the morning to the chirpings of birds. As you eye the nature, most heavenly sight of sunrise view rejuvenates your senses. After a leisurely breakfast you commence your biking adventure along the leisurely downhill trail to Dhulikhel amidst the enchanting picturesque vistas of Himalayas through interesting Nepalese countryside. Dhulikhel, an ancient town situated 30 kms east of Kathmandu is renowned for its traditional buildings, the continuing Newari lifestyle and breathtaking views of the snowy Himalaya.

Day 5 Drive to Nyalam (3750m) 5 hrs approx, 123 km
After early breakfast you will drive through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to Kodari on the Nepal Tibet border, a large section of the road runs parallel to Bhote Koshi river. After completing the border formalities at both the Nepalese and Chinese immigration posts and meeting Tibetan guide you will further drive up a series of incredibly steep switchbacks to Zhangmu on the Tibetan side of the border. A short drive of only 30km from the border takes you to Nyalam, on a steep winding road which passes through a mossy gully with cascading waterfalls.

Day 6 Rest Day at Nyalam
You spend a day in Nyalam in order to acclimatize before heading up high. An acclimatization exercise walk / ride to Milereppa cave will be arranged.

Day 7 Drive to La Lung La (5124m, 50 km - 1.5 hrs approx) and cycle back to the Last resort (1600m, 97 km – 3 hrs approx)
Fit and well-acclimatized after the exercise of the last few days, you will drive for a little more than an hour from the lush, green lower hills into the dry, arid landscape of the Tibetan Plateau. Once you are on the top of La Lung La you will be treated with a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayan range including Mt Everest - a fitting backdrop to the vastness of the Tibetan Plateau. After a brief rest on the top of the pass you are now ready for huge adrenaline rush as you dart down world’s longest downhill track to the last resort located just on the bank of Bhote Koshi river. After a sumptuous lunch at exotic the Last Resort you can stroll down the river or spend the day relaxing by the river admiring surrounding views of lush green hills.

Day 8 Drive or bike to Dhulikhel (75 km)
Today you have two options to choose from. You can ride all the way to Dhulikhel along paved road with occasional small climb or board support vehicle.


Day 9 bike to Balthali village resort via Panauti (17 kms)
After breakfast at resort, your off-road biking journey continues. Panauti and Balthali, two villages located near Kathmandu, but away from the beaten tourist track. They are photographer's paradise, with the contrast of richly coloured villages against a backdrop of snow capped mountains. You will stop at Panauti, an ancient traditional village which houses 800 years old Indreshwor temple famous for its intriguing woodcarving. The track to Balthali village continues through paddy & potato field.

Day 10 Balthali – Namo Buddha – Dhulikhel Biking & drive to Kathmandu (30 km)
After exploring Balthali Village a typical Nepali countryside, a place of isolation and relaxation amidst terraced rice fields and thatched farm houses, you peddle along dirt track through rice fields to Namo Buddha, a sacred Buddhist stupa with grand view of snowy peaks in distance. A 14 km cycling along dirt track brings you to Dhulikhel where you board vehicle to Kathmandu.

Day 11 Depart Kathmandu (or stay longer for other activities). Transfer to the airport in time to catch you flight home.
