The Palaces and Tigers Tour program to India is aptly designed to provide you with an unique opportunity of staying in some of India’s legendary palaces while touring around the most beautiful cities of Agra, Jaipur as well as India’s capital city – Delhi. During the course of this eleven days trip, you will also visit some of India’s most famous parks including Ranthambore National Park and Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Spread over an area of 1,334 sq km and located in the Swami Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, some 130 km from Jaipur, the Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in India. Famous for its tiger population and the chirpy birds, the park has formerly been the hunting grounds of the Maharaja’s of Jaipur. The Keoladeo National Park on the other hand is equally famous as bird watcher’s paradise. With over 380 resident and migrant species of birds species including the common demoiselle and the rare Siberian Cranes, the park is situated in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan and is also an excellent place to spot mammals like Golden Jackal, Jungle cat, striped hyaena, Sambar, fishing cat, Nilgai, Blackbucks and wild boar.  Before driving back to Delhi we will visit the famous ‘pink city’ of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan where despite exploring its rather colorful bazaars, palaces and mansions we will also visit other sites of attractions including the Hawa Mahal better known as’ Palace of the Winds, the Jantar Mantar, Jai Singh’s outdoor observatory (for measuring the harmony of the heavens).
