There are few options for a hike to Changu Narayana. One can either start the hike form Sankhu or Telkot,  each of which involve few good hours hike through scenic village with Himalayan panorama in the background. For Sankhu route, it is a 40 minutes drive from Kathmandu and then a mild hike through the beautiful hills, wilderness areas and traditional rural villages with pristine rivers to the Changu Narayan hill top where the temple is situated. Or alternatively, we can drive to Telkot (45mins) and then start the hike to the temple through beautiful scenery with many Himalayan peaks forming the background.
