The Ghalegaun –Ghanapokhara homestay tour is an ideal program for visitors who wish to stay as family member at typical Nepalese houses and to experience firsthand Nepal’s rural communities, their lifestyle and the local customs and tradition. Situated in the lap of beautiful Lamjung Himal Ghalegaun- Ghanapokhara is a rather sublime setting for such explorations during your visit to Nepal.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to the Kathmandu host family house, introduction, dinner and overnight

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu and Patan with one of the family members as your guide, back home, dinner entertainment and rest.

Day 03: After breakfast drive to Pokhara, transfer to the Pokhara host family, introduction, dinner, entertainment and rest.

Day 04: Sightseeing of Pokhara city + Phewa Lake boating with one of the family members as your guide, back home, dinner entertainment and rest.

Day 05: After breakfast drive to Nangidhar, transfer to the Nangidhar host family, introduction, late afternoon stroll in and around, dinner, entertainment and rest.

Day 06: After breakfast hike to the stunningly beautiful Pasgaun village, introduction with the Pasgaun host family, late afternoon stroll in and around, dinner, entertainment and rest.

Day 07: After breakfast trek to Ghalegaun, introduction with the Ghalegaun host family, late afternoon stroll in and around, dinner, entertainment and rest.

Day 08: Breakfast with the host family, half day excursion of Ghalegaun, lunch and join the host family members in the preparation and observation of typical Nepalese dinner, entertainment,  Overnight

Day 09: Full day rest, relax and enjoy the typical Ghalegaun feast for the whole day, cultural show in the evening

Day 10: After breakfast join the family chores and participate in the day to day household activities by doing things of your choice such as: milking the cows, grazing the goats, preparing your own native cuisine for all to delight etc

Day 11: If you fell like extending your stay, it can be done so for as long as you wish for, otherwise we shall prepare to return back to Kathmandu via Pokhara

Day 12: Back to Pokhara and stay with the same family as last time, dinner and rest

Day 13: After breakfast drive or fly back to Kathmandu and stay with the same family member as before.

Day 14: Half day sightseeing of Bhaktapur and then drive to Nagarkot for overnight.

Day 15: Early morning sunrise view / Himalayan panorama and full day excursion of Nagarkot.

Day 16: After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu and stay with the same family as before. Afternoon free for sorting out the personal stuff for getting ready for the return journey, dinner, entertainment, rest.

Day17:  Early morning Mt. flight, back home, afternoon free, farewell dinner in the evening with typical Nepalese culture show, overnight at hotel.
