As the name suggests Nepal Pilgrimage Tour is a perfect introduction to many of Nepal’s religious sites. The tour initially starts from the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara from where we then fly to Jomsom for a visit to the famous Muktinath temple (God of salvation, Nirvana or complete freedom) where you will witness quite bizarre elements of water and fire existing together. The tour then takes you to Lumbini (the birthplace of Lord Buddha) and Janakpur before finally concluding in Kathmandu with sightseeing of valley’s many a pilgrimage sites.

Day 01:  Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.

Day 02:  Drive to Kurintar, visit Manakamana temple by cable car & continue drive to Pokhara, free time, hotel

Day 03:  Full day Pokhara sightseeing, Phewa Lake boating in the late afternoon, hotel

Day 04:  Morning flight to Jomsom, drive to Muktinath, and pay a visit to the holy shrine, overnight at resort

Day 05:  After breakfast, drive to Jomsom (stop over at Kagbeni for lunch), and half day sightseeing of Jomsom.

Day 06:  Fly to Pokhara, free day for shopping and dining of your choice, hotel

Day07:   Drive to Lumbini, rest relax, stroll around the site in the early evening.

Day 08:  Full day excursion of Lumbini. Visit the sacred place where Princess Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha, including the visit to the holy site of Lumbini with ruins of ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi tree ancient bathing pond, the Asokan pillar where the Mayadevi temple and the precise place of birth of Buddha is located. From early morning to early evening, pilgrims from various countries perform chanting and meditation at the site.

Day 09:  After breakfast drive to Janakpur-the center of the ancient Maithili culture and the birthplace of Sita- the consort of Lord Rama

Day 10:  Drive back to Kathmandu, rest and relax, overnight at hotel

Day 11:  Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu and Patan, back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel

Day 12:  Half day sightseeing of Bhaktapur and then drive to Nagarkot for overnight, resort

Day 13:  Early morning sunrise view / Himalayan panorama, breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu, free day for sorting out personal stuff or exploring the Kathmandu high street /shopping mall on your own. Farewell dinner in the evening with live Nepalese culture show, hotel.

Day 14:  Final departure
