These are all an introductory rides taking you through the ancient rural villages, monasteries with superb views of the Himalayas. Biking through the rural villages at the valley rim on the back trails with some ups and downhill tracks also provides you sufficient time to immerse in its peaceful surrounding and a chance to see the other back side of Kathmandu. The biking trips within Kathmandu Valley allow you to enjoy its hidden pockets rarely frequented by the trekkers. These trips are especially designed to allows you the opportunity to experience as much of Nepal as possible in a week holiday which incorporate visits to Nepal’s historic cities, hill resorts, temples, monasteries and picturesque villages tucked away in the forests along the way.

MTB001: Around Kathmandu Valley (Downhill Thrills):
A: Nagarkot – Bhaktapur: The ride starts from breakfast in Nagarkot, with the beautiful Himalayan panorama. The ride heads off to Nala and then to Bhaktapur for lunch. Bhaktapur.


B: Nagarkot- Indrawati River: The “retread” trail is an epic track descent through terraced paddy fields and small villages that lead to Indrawati River. After 1000m of downhill a jeep road leads to Friendship highway, the main road to Tibet

C: Kakani – Budanilkantha: After breakfast in Kakani, the ride will head of along the valley rim towards the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve then to the valley floor at Budanilkantha.

D: Jamacho – Balaju: An uphill ride to Jamacho (top of the Raniban forest) and then a descent towards the Balaju Botanical Garden
